I thought I'd check with Sony anyway and they said my serial number should have more than six digits. It should have 7 apparently. But later the guy said 8, although he may have mispoken. So here's the rub: my invoice and box only have this six digit number. The heapdhones seem alright but I'm concerned. So my question to any MDR-7506 owners who are able to check is, can you see a serial number ANYWHERE on your cans? Failing that, how many digits in your serial number?
Later on the guy was telling me they were probably fine, and I'm like duuuude, what the hell, give me a straight answer. Cheers anyone! Juz.
